Gospel

Kia Ora and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be showing you my Gospel Reflection journal which I have been doing since term 3. We answer a set of questions from the weeks Gospel every week. I highlight the questions in Yellow and don’t highlight the answers. Here is my Gospel Reflection, I hope you enjoy it.

In the question what is Jesus telling his disciples? (PS; look on the 34 slide and the slide before that.)

Holes

Kia Ora and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be showing you my create tasks and questions answering from the past couple of weeks about a novel called, “Holes”. Holes is a novel written by Louis Sachar. The book centers on Stanley Yelnats, who is sent to Camp Green Lake, a correctional boot camp in a desert in Texas, after being falsely accused of theft.

We had to make a create task for chapter 1-5, Chapter 10, Chapter 16-20 and Chapter 29-35. I hope you will enjoy my presentation. Do you have a favorite book? Goodbye!

Mary

Kia Ora and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be showing you my Mary Fact File that I did back in Week 2.

In our fact File we had to include her name, date of birth, her family members, some significant events in her life and her feast day. Mary is a role model who is the mother of Jesus. The rosary is a neckless used to pray where you pray a lot of our fathers mail marys the hail marys is the significance of Mary.

We also had to include one of the 10 mysteries from the rosary, I did the annunciation which is one of the Joyful Mysteries. The Annunciation of the Lord refers to the time when the angel Gabriel visited the Blessed Virgin Mary to tell her that she would be the mother of the savior. Mary was the first to hear and believe that God would do what he promised the world.

Here is my fact file, I hope you enjoy it and gain some new knowledge from it. Goodbye! What is the most interesting mystery to you?

All Souls and All Saints Day.

Kia Ora everyone and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be showing you my presentation on All Saints and All Souls day. Last week in RE we learnt about All Saints and All Souls day. All Saints’ Day is celebrated on November 1st to remember all saints and martyrs during Christian history. It is followed by All Souls’ Day on November 2nd to commemorate those who have passed within the faith.

For our All Saints task we had to select one Saint that the church honours on All Saints Day and research into this Saint. I chose Saint Patrick because we share the same name and I know a lot of things about him. For our All Souls day task we had to select one of the Catholic practices in the above text or find your own and research further into this practice. Find the belief behind this practice and why they celebrate the way they do.

Here is my create task, I hope you enjoy it and be filled with new knowledge after you read it. Goodbye! Who is your favorite saint?
