A Depressing Month

So on Thursday 8th of September 2022, the world was hit with one of the worst news anyone could hear. Queen Elizabeth the second has sadly passed away peacefully in the well known Balmoral Castle. About 5 hours before her death they announced that the Royal family was worried about her health so they got her checked out, later then, they were right.

After that to show our respect, most countries of the world put their flag down to half mast as a sign of respect. Now that the Queen is no longer with us, she is now with her most beloved Prince Philip. Taking her place will be her eldest, Prince Charles the Third or should I say, King Charles the Third.

Well sadly we have more bad things to start off the month, it was officially the 21st year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks that happened in the following locations. Twin Towers a.k.a The World Trade Centre. The Pentagon outside of Washington D.C and a fourth that crashed somewhere near Pennsylvania after the crew and passengers took over the hijackers controls.

Rest in peace for those who lost loved ones in 9/11, and rest in peace with the queen. This truly was a horrific start to the Month.

I really love how descriptive you were in your writing! I also think that the vocabulary that you used was awesome. There is only one thing I think you might need to change though and that is the introduction because it is quite a simple fix to change “So On” but apart from that I loved the post.

Keep up the good work, Evan

    1. Kia Ora Evan, Patrick here.

Thank you for the advice and I will keep an eye out for that mistake next time.

      Goodbye!
