Pretty Rainbowwww! SLJ Task.

Kia Ora everyone and welcome back to my blog. Today I did the task of making a Rainbow collage with objects outside and inside our homes. My strategy for this was using 2 objects per colour. So lets name the objects organised by colour!

Red = Santa Hat and Elmo Soft Toy

Orange:  Birthday Card and Mini Basketball

Yellow: Toblerone and Yellow Cebuano Turtle

Green: Christmas Wreath and Green Cebuano Turtle

Blue: Puma Sneaker and Playstation 4 controller

Indigo = A colourful letter K and a Indigo crayon.

Violet = A Violet crayon and my earbuds.

Here is a picture. I hope you like it! What is your favourite colour? Goodbye and have a good day!

One Line Shrek? SLJ Task

Kia Ora everyone and welcome back to my blog. I forgot to post this but a while ago I did the One Line art activity. The task was to create a drawing using only one line. After finding some interesting pictures online, I came across a one line Shrek drawing and thought, “Why not!”. So I watched the video and I did it. Here is my final result! I hope you like it. What would you draw using One line? Goodbye and have a blessed day!

Rainbow Mnemonics. SLJ Task

Kia Ora and welcome back to my blog, everyone! I completed the assignment to learn about mnemonics today. The Oxford Owl claims that Mnemonics can help us in correctly spelling difficult words. Making a Mnemonic to assist me remember the colours of the rainbow was my assignment.

Here is my reciting my Mnemonic:

I hope you enjoyed the video! What Mnemonic helps you spell a certain word? Goodbye and have a blessed day!

The Polynesian Board. SLJ Task.

Kia Ora everybody and welcome back to my blog. Today I did the task of designing our own Surfboard. The design I went for in this project was a cultural one. I chose to do a Polynesian cultured themed Surfboard. I drew this on paper and drew something that represented each culture. I mainly did traditional patterns. The cultures I did was Hawaiian, Japanese, Chilean, Kiwi, Tongan, Samoan, Ni-Vanuatu and Tuvaluan. I call it the Board of Polynesia! (And Asia!)

Here is my Surfboard! I hope you like it! What theme did you go with for your Surfboard?
